Tola Doll Fisher

Tola Doll Fisher, known to many as “Doll”, is the magazine editor and creative director at Premier Woman Alive, host of the Woman Alive podcast, a speaker and model. She was previously editor for two magazines published by international development organisation Mothers' Union and started her journalism career as a columnist for the Birmingham Evening Mail (now Birmingham Mail).

Doll has written thought pieces for The Independent Voices and HuffPost UK and featured in consumer titles including Metro, Company, Psychologies and Pride. Doll's hot topics include faith, loss, success, relationships and sex and she co-hosted on the YouTube show Sisterhood, focused on Millennial relationships and culture (produced by TBN UK).

Doll is author of  'Still Standing:100 Lessons From An 'Unsuccessful' Life' and, as one of her earlier speaking engagements Doll delivered a TEDx Talk on Debunking the Myth of Success based on the subjects covered in her book. She also writes unfiltered personal essays on Substack under the name Christ Couture, from the perspective of a Christian and model and not a “model Christian”.

Known for her candid authenticity, Doll has pushed for more transparency from the Church by publishing content around often-perceived taboo topics such as sex and intimacy, women’s rights and spiritual abuse.
