Reverend Poseda Langley – Perkins

Reverend Poseda Langley-Perkins is a devoted wife and mother. Her professional background is in Human Resource Development. She lived in Birmingham most of her adult life and now resides in London, where she is serving in full time ministry as co-pastor at the Church of God of Prophecy (COGOP), House of Bread New Cross, London. Poseda’s ministerial calling was recognised by the COGOP Ministerial Review Board in 2011, when she received her Minister’s Licence. Since then she has served as an Assistant Pastor at two local churches, Regional Prayer Coordinator for the West Midlands and has continued to work under the calling of the Holy Spirit thereafter. She has also served in Chaplaincy team in HRM Winson Green Prison and as a street pastor in the local areas of Birmingham. She continues her active service within the community and is currently serving as the CEO of the Hillview Community Services (which received the Mayor of Lewisham award) and collaborates with South London and Maudsley (SLAM), with whom she supports with Mental Health Awareness forums. She also holds qualifications as a mental health First Aider and sits as a member of Telegraph Hill Ward community network for the London Borough of Lewisham. Moreover, she works quite closely with the Community Counselors and Mayor to bring about Community engagement and transformation.

Reverend Poseda has been awarded for her diligent efforts during the Covid-19 Pandemic as she would distribute food items to homes in the community and visit hospitals during the heights of pandemic to pray for the ill.
