REVEREND MARGARET JEPTUI TANUI

Reverend Margaret Jeptui Tanui is a Minister of Gods word, counsellor, advocate for women and against domestic violence, a mentor, community mobiliser and intercesor. She is also a mother of 3 grown up children.

Born 57 years ago in Saos Kipkoriony village in Baringo county Kenya . She has fought obstacles and limitations to be where she is today. Despite her experience of seeing her mum go through domestic violence and poverty, she overcame depression and social stigma after her marriage breakdown and her children taken away from her for 10years in Kenya.

Margaret mobilised women support prayers, counselling and financial empowerment.

She continued to play a major role by teaching Gods word diligently, mobilizing the community to support each other. As a minister she has been invited to several local and international meetings.

She obtained a Masters in Social Development and sustainable livelihoods in the University of Reading UK.
