Omolola Oyewusi

Lady, Councillor, pastor Lola Oyewusi is a trailblazer, a woman who has passion about community transformation.

She’s the founder of Magdalene Ministry supporting people who are marginalized because of their race, disability, class & employment situation. Her ministry cuts across Nigeria, Ireland & England.

She’s the first black woman to be selected to stand as a police crime commissioner candidate by any party in the UK. She's a multi award winner ,locally and internationally . She’s the winner of the G15 Housing Association Outstanding Award 2024. Winner of Medway public health award 2025 and Tonbridge and Malling borough council award winner 2025 for outstanding community initiatives that tackles health inequalities .

She a trade unionist and seats on national committees shaping policy that helps government deliver the best for the people they are called to serve, especially in areas of intersectionality for disabilities' and race  .
