Minister Ruth Foh-Amoaning

Min. Ruth Foh-Amoaning is an ordained junior minister in service at Liberty House Worship Ministry UK and founder of Commission Youth United under the covering her parents Bishop David and Rev. Matilda Foh-Amoaning.

She is a teacher by profession in Film and media subjects and currently holds a BA and MA degree in related field. She is currently at the final stages of completing her second postgraduate program in academia. She has a passion for producing documentaries and in March 2023 premiered her personal documentary called ‘Sickle Cell: The Invisible Disease’ to raise funds and awareness for the condition. The documentary was based on her own experience living with Sickle Cell. Public figures such as ex councillors Sameera Saleem,  Mr Festus Akinbusoye police commissioner (2021-2024) and Mr John James OBE (Chief executive of Sickle Cell Society Charity) were present for the premiere in support of the cause.

Min. Ruth serves the Lord in various capacities as a youth pastor of Chosen Generation and head of Social media at Liberty House Worship Ministry. She truly has a heart for the Lord and after experiencing different types of healing throughout her battle with sickle cell disease she now uses her voice to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and equip the youth for The Great Commission.

After many years of running the youth department at LHWM Min. Ruth was given the opportunity to begin a new youth led initiative named ‘Commission’ (birthed in November 2023). This vision is to connect youth groups from various churches across the UK to be united through annual events to promote active engagement with the community through everyday evangelism.

Young people have given their life to Christ through Commission events such as Prayer Summits, street evangelism and conferences. Various youth groups around the UK attnded in order to be trained for this very cause.
