Cllr Anntoinette Bramble

Deputy Mayor of Hackney 

A competent national leader, with decades of experience in the educational and political arena. Both adept at community focus change making and international policy shaping. She is solution focused and an example of that is leading a Council digital campaign that raised £10,000 for laptops and WiFi for children and young people during the pandemic. Through intersectionality including having dyslexia she understands some of the challenges we face in life. Her aspiration is to empower young people so they know the gift they carry irrespective of circumstance. Anntoinette often says to young people, you cannot determine the doors that close to you but you can always determine how many you push open.
