Dr Joan Myers OBE

Joan is a much sought after anointed and inspirational speaker who has travelled extensive on speaking engagements in  England, USA, the West Indies as well as Africa. She is an Pastor & Evangelist at Rehoboth International Christian Centre in Croydon. She loves the Word of God and has a passion for souls for God’s Kingdom.

 Joan is an Associate Director for Health Services and Chief Nurse at Achieving for Children in Kingston and Richmond. Joan received a Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother outstanding services award for community nursing 2012. As well as being voted one of the top 50 most  Inspirational Leaders in NHS and top 50 BME pioneer by Health Service Journal in 2013 she was also honoured with a an OBE  for services to children and nursing in the Queen’s Birthday honours list in 2013. She was listed  as one of the top 50 Leaders in NHS in the Nursing Times in 2014.

In  July  2014 Joan was chosen from over 2000 nominations to have her garden made over on TV on the “Love your Garden” programme by Alan Titchmarsh in recognition of the charity work she does.  Joan has a children’s charity in Kenya  providing school sponsorship to 25 orphans  and vulnerable children. She is passionate about empowering, encouraging and challenging people to progress, do well and excel in their chosen field of study or career. In 2015 Joan received an honorary doctorate from Middlesex University. Joan was an Ambassador for Mary Seacole Statue Appeal. The Statue was installed in Grounds of St Thomass Hospital in 2016.
