Olasimbo Ibijoke Ojuroye

Olasimbo Ibijoke Ojuroye was born on the 12th Oct 1967 to Ayoola and Adedotun Oke at East Dulwich London. She is the second born of 4 siblings. Olasimbo is happily married to Ayodeji and blessed with 3 young adults.

She obtained her first degree in Chemistry at the University of Lagos Nigeria and graduated with Bsc Hons. Arriving United Kingdom thereafter, she pursued a career and trainings in Information Technology solutions working as an Information technology consultant for a several years.

Her dream to serve her generation and to pursue humanitarian activities would not let go. She knew that she needed to address the cry she hears around her from the less privileged.

That desire made her leave a lucrative career path and to go back to University to study about Health and Social care which is in line with her passion and to better equip her to peruse her humanitarian goals.

Olasimbo is a committed Christian and her passion to reach out to the orphans, disabled and less privileged children led to the formation of Sparkle Foundation where she serves as the Chief Executive, where annually she leads a team to host educational (Books, School Bags, Shoes etc) feeding and social programmes across primary and secondary schools, specialised schools in the slum areas of some of Nigeria’s major cities at the beginning of school years and also during Independence season through the Sparkle Project.
