Rose Kingori
Rose is a multi-skilled clinician currently working as a Liver Clinical Nurse Specialist. She has extensive experience in healthcare, having worked in Emergency Care, NHS 111 and as a Tuberculosis Clinical Nurse Specialist. Passionate about public health, she is dedicated to promoting healthier communities, particularly among underserved populations.
Originally trained in Kenya as a Registered General Nurse and Midwife, Rose moved to the UK in 2001 and later completed a BSc Hons in Specialist Practice and other postgraduate studies including Leadership and Management.
Beyond her profession, Rose is deeply involved in community service. She is the Organising Secretary of the Kenyans Association in Bristol (KAIB), playing a key role in networking events, managing communication through collaboration and partnerships. She also represents KAIB on The African Voices Forum (AVF) Board.
Additionally, she co-founded and serves as Organising Secretary of Kirinyaga Diaspora UK, an association connecting Kirinyaga County descendants and investors in the UK.
With a strong focus on welfare support, Rose has coordinated community initiatives to assist individuals facing challenging circumstances. She was instrumental in the establishment of Kenyans in Bristol Welfare and Kirinyaga Diaspora UK Welfare, which provide bereavement financial support.
She has been actively involved in local church programs, including feeding the homeless and organizing the first Swahili Mass Service in Bristol.
Above all, Rose is a Christian, a mentor, a role model and a mother of three boys
