My name is Sia Honoria Johnny, born in the Kono District in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. I am married with three grown up children and presently live in London.
I trained as a nurse and midwife and I have worked in Kono, Sierra Leone for some years as well as a few hospitals in London. I later went to work in childcare in the Under-Fives Sector for a number of years until my retirement four years ago.
Over the years, I have served as a women’s leader, Cell Group Leader in churches in Sierra Leone, London and Beijing as well as Sunday School Teacher in London and Beijing. I have been involved in the Missions of Donkeys For Christ Ministry (smuggling Bibles into main land China) in Hong Kong as well as in the founding of the African Outreach Ministry ( to reach out with the Gospel to non- Church going Africans) of the Beijing International Christian Fellowship Church and I have also served as Associate Pastor for some years in Rhema Assembly Church in London.
Presently, I am training to be a Local Preacher for the Methodist Church.
